Welcome to Roero, 420 square kilometres located on the left bank of the Tanaro river, to the North of Alba, in Piedmont.

Roero emerged from the sea 2-3 million years ago, from Tortonian to Piacenzian age. The soil is calcareous at times, with sandy veins rich in shells and marine fossils.
Our roots lie here, in the lands of Arneis and Nebbiolo, in the succession of hills, woods and orchards, up to the wild steep slopes, the Rocche.

Massimo e Roberto Damonte di Malvirà, orgogliosi di una terra che ospita vigneti eccellenti: il Roero

WE HAVE BEEN CULTIVATING OUR VINEYARDS WITH PASSION AND ENTHUSIASM FOR GENERATIONS.

Family tradition, experience and deep respect for the land are the guiding principles of our work.

Different vineyard exposures and peculiarities of the soil allow us to produce wines with a well-defined personality, which express in the glass the true meaning of Roero.
